Friends University

Dan Gaskell comes to Friends University with years of experience in tennis. Coach Gaskell played tennis at Chanute High School and then went on to play at Neosho County Community College. He then received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management from Kansas State University.

Gaskell has been around tennis for the past 40 years and still competes in adult tournaments today.  He has been providing lessons to the greater Wichita area and was the assistant women’s tennis coach at Northwest High School in 2010. “I’m very excited to join the Friends University coaching staff,” said Dan Gaskell. “I look forward to the challenge of building the tennis team and establishing an ongoing, successful program.”
