Friends University

Kieran Laking enters his fourth season as an assistant coach at Friends University, but his first with the women's soccer team after three years with the men's program.

Laking is in his second year as head coach for the FC Wichita Women's team competing in the WPSL during the summer, while also serving as the head coach of the FC Wichita 2010 ECNL girls that made the post-season regional playoffs in consecutive seasons and the 2008 and 2009 girls FC Wichita Academy teams. 

He has 8+ years of coaching experience at the USL2, UWS, WPSL, NAIA, WRSA, NPL and ECNL levels. 

Laking is entering his sixth season as a Wichita Wings player in the MASL and is a former USL, collegiate and youth academy player.

He came to Friends from Hartlepool, England after being recruited to attend NCAA D-II program Newman University back in 2014. 

Laking received his degree in Business Administration from Newman University in 2018.

He and his wife, Maria, live in Wichita.
