Trevor Biedron is in his seventh season as an assistant coach with the track and field program and will continue to focus his efforts with the Hurdle and Pole Vault squads. 

Biedron was a member of the Friends Track and Field Program from 2012-2016 where he focused his talents in the hurdles, combined events, and relays. During his time with the program, he was an integral part of the team bringing home conference titles in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016. 

After serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2017, Biedron officially joined the staff as the hurdles coach for the 2018 season. He took over an already successful squad of hurdlers and has helped them to continued success including 2 NAIA All-Americans, 9 KCAC champions, 18 NAIA national qualifying marks and numerous All-KCAC honors. 

In the Spring of 2018, Biedron took over coaching duties for the Pole Vault as well. The pole vault group has had steady success at the conference level in the last several years resulting in 4 different athletes winning KCAC championships. 

Additionally, 5 school records in the hurdles and pole vault events have been broken or tied during his tenure. (W60H-8.62, W100H-14.30, W400H-1:01.70, WIPV-3.34m, M60H-8.03, M110H-14.35). 

Other coaching highlights for Biedron include KCAC Podium sweeps (1st-2nd-3rd) in the women’s 60mH (2018), women’s 100mH (2018), women’s 400mH (2019), and men’s indoor pole vault (2022). 

Biedron graduated from Friends University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He later earned a Master’s degree in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University in 2020. Biedron holds Track and Field coaching certifications through USATF and ALTIS.   In addition to coaching, Biedron is the Assistant Coordinator of the Casado Campus Center and Intramural Programs at Friends.
