Trevor Biedron is in his ninth season as an assistant coach with the track and field program and will continue to guide the Hurdle and Pole Vault squads.
After serving as a volunteer assistant coach in 2017, Biedron officially joined the staff as the hurdles coach for the 2018 season. He took over a perennially successful squad of hurdlers and has helped them to continued success including two NAIA All-Americans, 12 KCAC champions, 25 NAIA national qualifying marks and five school records.
In the Spring of 2018, Biedron took over coaching duties for the Pole Vault as well. Since then, his vault squads have secured 11 KCAC individual titles, one NAIA national qualifying mark, and one school record.
Coaching highlights include being selected as the KCAC Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2024 Indoor season. The 2023 Outdoor season was another highlight for Biedron as his women’s 100mH group achieved a National #1 Squad ranking by the USTFCCCA. Other coaching highlights for Biedron include KCAC podium sweeps (1st-2nd-3rd) in the women’s 60mH (2018), women’s 400mH (2019), men’s indoor pole vault (2022), and women’s 100mH (2018 & 2023).
Biedron was a member of the Friends Track and Field Program from 2012-2016 where he focused his efforts in the hurdles, combined events, and relays. During his time with the program, he was a valuable part of the team winning KCAC meet titles in 2012, 2013, 2015, and 2016.
He graduated from Friends University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He later earned a Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Arkansas State University in 2020. Biedron holds Track and Field coaching certifications through USATF and ALTIS.  In addition to coaching, Biedron is the Assistant Coordinator of the Casado Campus Center and Intramural Programs at Friends.Â
