Robert Hall is in his third season on the coaching staff for the Friends University wrestling program this fall as an assistant coach.

Hall’s 24-year coaching career includes two National Women's Collegiate Qualifiers, one National Men's Collegiate qualifier, four national HS champions, 12 state champions, and 55 state medalists. In addition, his resume includes the 2016 4A State runner-up team.

Most recently, Hall reignited the wrestling program at Kingman High School in 2020, which was previously discontinued in 1995.

In the 2021-22 season, the Eagles qualified five wrestlers for the 3-2-1A Kansas State Tournament. Among those five wrestlers is Colby Schreiner, the 2022 3-2-1A Kansas State Champion at 145 lbs.

A Humboldt, Neb. native, Hall has helped develop quality wrestling programs at several Kansas schools including Atchison, Atchison County, Clay Center, Marysville, Stafford, El Dorado, and Kingman.

He credits Wes Reynolds of El Dorado High School, Bill Ross Derby High School, and Mike Streit of Sabetha High School as some of the biggest influences on his coaching career.

Hall resides near Wichita with his wife, Brandy, and their four daughters.
