Friends University

Austin Zaring is in his first season as a graduate assistant intern coach for the Friends University men's wrestling program. 

Zaring was a part of the first graduating Friend’s University Men’s Wrestling class. He was a two-year varsity starter and one-time KCAC placer for the Falcons after transferring from Labette Community College.

Prior to Friends, Zaring was an assistant coach for Wichita NW from 2020-21, where he coached three state placers, two finalists, and one state champion. He will be a graduate assistant for both the men’s and women’s teams this season.
