Friends University

Jason Jinkens enters his first season on the Friends Football coaching staff and will coach the running backs.

He was an all-state football player at Canton High School (Okla.) and received a scholarship to Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he continued his athletic career. 

Jinkens started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Haven High School under Marty Nienstedt.

After relocating to Belle Plaine, Jinkens worked under Brian Seba and worked his way up through the coaching staff to eventually become the Head Football Coach at Belle Plaine High School, a position he served from 2013-2017.

Jinkens is currently finishing his master's degree in school leadership through Baker University.

He is married to his wife Curstin and has one daughter, Brooklyn.
