Trevor Sorenson starts his first season as an assistant coach for the Falcon baseball program after graduating from Friends.

Sorenson, from Willston, N.D., went to Des Moines Area Community College for two years and transferred to North Dakota State University before injuries interfered with baseball. After taking some time off, Sorenson returned to school to play at Friends.

While at Friends in 2013, Sorenson ranked #4 in strikeouts per game in the KCAC, #7 in innings pitched, #12 in wins, #13 in opponent batting average and hits per game, and #17 in ERA,

Sorenson has coached Babe Ruth teams as well as assisting on an American Legion team that took 2nd at state. He plans to get his Masters' Degree in Sports Performance Psychology and continue to coach baseball.
