Salina, Kan. & Emporia, Kan. -- The Friends University Falcons achieved a couple more national standards this past week at the Coyote Classic and the ESU Relays as they continued their march toward the KCAC Championship.

On Thursday at the ESU Relays, the Falcon Men's 4 X 100 Relay team of Carter Giittinger, Matthew Bryant, Daniel Castello and Pius Vokes nailed the NAIA B Standard with a school record and KCAC leading time of 40.97.

Also in Emporia, Kan., the team of Liliana Robinson, Lydia Robinson, Naomi Vagher and Fien Molenberg posted a third place finish in the Women's 4 X 400 relay (3:53.68). In the Men's 4 X 400 Relay, Daniel Castello, Marcus London, Ian Russell and Spencer Hines ran a time of 3:16.59 to finish fourth overall.

Bryant wasn't done and hit another NAIA B Standard in the Men's Triple Jump at the Coyote Classic, recording a PR of 14.69m. The mark is now third in school history in the event and also third in the KCAC this season.

Having already hit the NAIA A Standard in the women's pole vault earlier this season, Aaliyah Ramirez emerged victorious in the event in Salina with a height of 3.68 meters that would hit the NAIA B Standard.

The Falcons will next compete at the Zach Kindler Wildcat Open at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan. on Saturday (Apr. 25) in the final tuneup before hosting the KCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship the following week (Apr. 30-May 1).
