Manheim, PA – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has announced its 2026 Men's Team Scholar All-America honors, with the Friends University Falcons not only winning a team award but occupying the No. 2 spot nationally with a 3.5825 team GPA.
"This is a great reminder that the work we put in off the mat matters just as much as what we do on it," said Friends men's wrestling head coach Tyler Mies. "Our staff and wrestlers have done an outstanding job emphasizing the importance of developing the whole person, both on and off the mat."
Additionally, Logan Davidson, Brady Duling, Wyatt Gardner, Braden Ledford, Mason Moore, Braydon Pacheco and Tate Rusher earned individual NWCA NAIA Men's Scholar All-American awards.
"These student-athletes have demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence both on the mat and in the classroom," NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said in the NWCA's official release. "We commend their dedication and the example they set for the sport."
The Falcons also enjoyed unprecedented success on the mat this past season, qualifying eight for the NAIA National Championship Tournament and producing a program record three NAIA All-Americans.
