Box Score Ottawa, Kan. - Friends University baseball was handed another loss in a Sunday matinee (Feb. 15) against the Ottawa Braves (RV). The Braves would complete the sweep as their offense was too much for the Falcons pitching.
The first two innings from both sides showed no runs. In the 2nd Friends and Ottawa would leave 2 runners on as both pitching staffs would get out of jams. In the 3rd inning the Braves would hit a grand slam to put them up 4-0 in the bottom half of the 3rd. A sacrifice fly from Ottawa would put them up 5-0 after four innings.

Elijah Morales with a single. Before scoring the 3 runs in the 9th, the Falcons would leave 13 runners on base. The final score of this game would be 8-3 with the Falcons showing some fight late in the game.
