Siloam Springs, Ark. - The Falcons Men's Soccer team visited John Brown University for a non conference match-up, ultimately the Falcons lost 1-0 in a very defensive game.

A very physical game between the Falcons and the Golden Eagles resulted in 37 total fouls throughout the game, three yellow cards were given to the Falcons and just one to the Golden Eagles.

In the first half there was no scoring, but Falcons goalkeeper Juan Jose Echeverry had a fantastic game in net. He made six saves in the first half against John Brown's aggressive offensive attack. He ended with 9 total saves with 20 shots attempted. 

Coming out of the 2nd half there was tons of back and forth physical play fighting for the ball until the 69th minute Alejandro Gallardo put in his fourth goal of the season by a header. 

The Golden Eagles would run out the clock shutting out the Falcons giving them their 3rd win of the season. 

The Falcons will travel to Oklahoma City for a non conference match-up facing Oklahoma City University on Sept. 9 (Tues). The game will be at 6:00 PM
