Box Score WICHITA, Kan. — The Friends University Falcons dominated the Texas Wesleyan University Rams with a 4-0 victory on Thursday (Sept. 4) in their home opener in Adair-Austin Stadium.
Friends took control early, scoring once in the first half before adding three goals in the second.
Solenn Levesque scored the first goal of the night to spark the Falcons offense off the assist from
Mackenzie Cunningham.
Kieley Aranda scored one goal to start the second half, leading the team with six shots, including three on goal. Cunningham then struck twice in quick succession, with both goals coming just over a minute apart in the second half giving the Falcons a commanding 4-0 lead over the Rams.
The Falcons defense dominated from start to finish as they held the Rams to four total shots, with only two on target to secure the shutout win.
Next up, the Falcons will travel to Denver, Colo. next Tuesday (Sept. 9) to take on the NCAA D-II member Regis University Rangers.
