Bosher named KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week

WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University freshman kicker Truitt Bosher continues to impress in his first year as a Falcon and has now been named the KCAC Special Teams Player of the Week, announced today (Sept. 29) by the conference office. All KCAC Player of the Week awards are sponsored by Equity Bank.

It's the second consecutive Special Teams honor for the Falcons, with Jace Martin earning the award last Monday.

Bosher put together perhaps the best game of his career on Saturday (Sept. 27), connecting on all three of his field-goal attempts while going 6-of-6 on extra point attempts in the No. 7 Falcons' 53-0 romp of (RV) Evangel University. Bosher's three successful field goals included hitting from a career-high 42 yards.

The Burleson, Texas native also averaged 60.9 yards on 10 kickoff attempts in an all-around solid performance.

Bosher has made all five of his field-goal attempts this season and is 40-41 on extra-point attempts.

The Falcons will next play their final cross divisional game this Saturday (Oct. 4) at Ottawa University for a 1 pm kickoff in Ottawa, Kan.
