Sterling, Kan. – The (RV) Friends University Falcons led all the way in a 75-62 wire-to-wire victory over the Sterling College Warriors in a KCAC matchup tonight (Feb. 13) in Sterling, Kan.  The Falcons are now 19-6 overall and one game behind first-place Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a 15-4 league record.

The Falcons jumped on the Warriors from the outset, getting threes by Josh Price and KJ Spiller for an early 8-2 lead.

After the Warriors clawed within one, the Falcons opened things up with a three by Ring Deng, four straight points from Collin Maclin and then treys from both Price and Owen Evans to take a 25-10 lead at the 8:13 mark of the opening half.

Friends maintained control through the rest of the half and led 38-25 at the break.

With the lead at 52-47 with 8:55 left, two straight buckets by Randy Woolf, Jr. capped an 8-0 spurt that pushed the edge back to 13 at the 5:56 mark.
