WICHITA, Kan. – Friends University senior offensive lineman Kyree Watkins has collected another impressive honor by being selected to the 2025 Walter Camp NAIA All-America team, announced today (Dec. 23).
Watkins, also a two-time AFCA and VSN NAIA All-America performer, served as a solid base for an offensive line that paved the way for the Falcons to break their own NAIA single-season rushing record with 5,979 rushing yards this past season.
The 2025 KCAC Offensive Lineman of the Year, Watkins was a crucial ingredient in the Falcons leading the NAIA with 79 rushing touchdowns on the season and topping the NAIA in points per game (54.2 ppg).
Watkins helped the Falcons put together a season that will live forever in the history books. Under head coach Terry Harrison, Friends won a program record 12 games and advanced to the NAIA FCS quarterfinals for the first time in school history while securing their second straight KCAC championship.
