Salina, Kan. — The Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes defeated the Friends University Falcons in straight sets this evening (Nov. 8), winning 25-20, 25-16, 25-12. Kansas Wesleyan recorded nine service aces during the match.
The Falcons started strong in the first set, capitalizing on Kansas Wesleyan's early service errors to build momentum. But a decisive 6-0 run by the Coyotes, featuring key kills from Rylee Serpan and service aces by Blair Pennington, ultimately sealed the first set for the home team, 25-20.
Kansas Wesleyan carried that momentum to capture the second set 25-16 and then finished the match 25-12 in the third set.
The Falcons wrap up the 2025 season with a 19-12 overall record and a 4-9 mark in the KCAC.
