WICHITA, Kan. — The Friends University Falcons showed a competitive spirit, particularly in the second and third sets but the No. 6-ranked McPherson College Bulldogs won 3-0 by scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-20.
After the Bulldogs dominated the first set,
Maysen Bruschke had four kills in the second set but McPherson pulled out a 25-18 win to go up 2-0.
Brooke McHale then put in four kills in the third set before consecutive kills from Katie Warden closed out the match 25-20.
The Falcons will now wrap up the regular season with two road matches, starting Wednesday night (Nov. 5) at Southwestern College starting at 7 pm in Winfield, Kan.
