Men's Wrestling Falcons dominate Braves 37-9

Ottawa, Kan. — The Friends University Falcons won big over the Ottawa University Braves, 37-9 in a KCAC Men's Wrestling dual tonight (Jan. 17) in Ottawa, Kan. 

The Falcons started hot, getting three straight victories by Junior Camacho (125), Isaac Perez (133) and Wyatt Gardner (141). 

After Jayden Nowell got the Braves on the board, three more victories by Ezavian Ortega (157), Jake Knowles (165) and Benedict Holthaus (174) sewed away the victory for Friends. 

Braden Morgan (285) then won by pinfall to finish the night on a high note for the Falcons. 

The Falcons will now turn around and compete in the UCM Roger Denker Open on Sunday (Jan. 19) at 9 am in Warrensburg, Mo.
