Overland Park, Kan. - The Falcons obtained another 3-0 victory over the Kansas Christian College Falcons after winning by the same score over KCC at home last Saturday (Sept. 21). Despite playing away from home, the Falcons never let up, allowing a mere 22 points to their opponents across all three sets. The Falcons disciplined defense kept them in control throughout the match, adding another impressive win to their season and reinforcing their status as a team to watch.
Sydney Lentz made a strong comeback after her hiatus, proving once again why she earned the title of KCAC Attacker of the Week. Lentz delivered an outstanding performance with 12 kills and three blocks. Not far behind,
Emily Robbins delivered another strong showing, finishing the game with nine kills.
Quinn Curran once again proved to be a reliable force for the Falcons, maintaining her consistency with an impressive 23 assists during the game.
Antonia Perier and
Tammy Melendez also played key roles in the team's success, contributing 9 and 5 digs, respectively.
In the first match of the night, the Falcons also swept past Haskell Indian Nations 3-0.Â
In that outing, it was Curran leading the way in both kills (nine) and assists (31). Perier and
Saidy Gonzalez each had 11 digs to the Falcon defensive effort Haskell.Â
The Falcons return home on September 28th for their first home KCAC opponent, Bethel College, at 2 pm in Garvery Center.Â
