Bartlesville, Okla. – The No. 6-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles won 3-0 over the Friends University Falcons in KCAC action tonight (Oct. 9) in Bartlesville, Okla.
The Falcons dropped the first two sets 25-13 and 25-15 but gave the Eagles all they wanted in the third before falling 25-21.
Gabriella Lujan led the Falcons with seven kills and Quinn Curran had a team-high 16 assists. Tammy Melendez led the Falcons defensively with eight digs.
Evelyn Rohrberg paced all players with 15 kills for OKWU and Sydney Collins had a match-high 36 assists. Valeria Perez paced the Eagles with eight digs.
The Falcons next return home to face Sterling College Saturday afternoon (Oct. 12) at 1 pm inside the Garvey Center.
