Wichita, KS - The Lady Falcons swept both competitors this past Saturday.
First defeat was against conference opponent Ottawa University with scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-14. The scores do not show it but the Ottawa team was competitive with their placements.
After winning against the lady braves, the Falcons celebrated senior night with seniors Jacke Bragg, Holly Rutter, and Jessica McElroy. After an inspiring senior recognition, the girls got ready for Central Christian who they also swept, 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.
Coach Ayin had this to say about the team “This was a good week for us getting two clean wins, especially it being senior night. We want to go hard, play strong, and would like to see our seniors go out on top towards the end of the season. Saturday was definitely a momentum builder going into this last week of practice.”
Today, the Falcons will travel to Leavenworth to compete against University of Saint Mary will end the regular season at home on Thursday, November 5th against Sterling College.
