In a battle for the conference title, Friend University matched up against the Swedes of Bethany College on Saturday. Despite a number of very close matches, it was Bethany that came out on top as the Falcons fell to their opponents 3-6.
Later that same afternoon, the Falcon rallied back from the morning’s disappointment to defeated Kansas Wesleyan by a score of 6-3.
On the women’s side, the Lady Falcons faced much the same fate at the men, falling to Bethany in the morning, before coming back to beat KWU in the afternoon by a score of 6-3.
